Sorry I have been MIA on here...just rarely get the time to devote to chillaxing on the computer. This week has been slow at work so I am catching up on life. Last week was kind of crazy. My boss called me in on my day off for emergency surgery on the most beautiful G. Pyrenees ever...10 yrs old with acute GDV (think Marley and Me). Amazingly he survived and is doing great. In 10 days I run my first (and only?) marathon, in honor of ~mim304 (https://www.deviantart.com/mim304) Which means, this week I get to taper! My knees are thanking me. I had a minor overuse injury, but luckily my best friend is a doctor of physical therapy and she set me back on track a few weeks ago. Seems to be doing well now, but yeah, taper all the way! The only trouble is that now my 3 mile runs feel like 8 mile runs, because it is stinking COLD out. I tend to function best when it is 70 degrees out, not 7.
